Designed using the la research on sexual violence prevention, this course will teach you about the prevalence and impact of sexual harassment on young people. You’ll also learn real-life strategies for identifying and responding to harassment if you see it in your community.

 

Teacher Talk is now available for up to 3 category II Continuing Education Units (CEs) for Social Workers, Licensed Counselors, and Psychologists

CEs are being offered by the University of Maryland School of Social Work Office of Continuing Professional Education

– Complete the entire program. – Pass the quizzes – Pay for CEs using a link provided at the end of Teacher Talk –

While most State Boards accept CEs from an accredited University, The Office of Continuing Professional Education is authorized by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. Please check with your governing Board to ensure that they accept CE from an Accredited School of Social Work. After purchasing CEs, you will receive an email that states that you now have an account with the Office of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and that your certificate is ready to be downloaded. CEs will be issued on:
  • April 14th (For program completion Jan 1- March 31st)
  • June 14th (For program completion April 1st – June 30t)
  • October 14th (For program completion July 1st- Sept 30th)
  • January 14th (For program completion Oct 1 – Dec 31st)
